Summary
While in Hong Kong, Master cleaned up a cave that used to be a bullpen. Master built a fireplace in the cave with cement and stones, turning it into a warm and comfortable living room with a few straw mats and coushions . Master knows how to turn a dark and dirty place into a beautiful one through her arrangement and design . This is a good hobby, Master’s way to balance life in HER spare time.
We often hear Master say that as spiritual practitioner, we should be honest and upright and clean. We should not drink alcohol, nor smoke, nor…, which is not only good for the health, but can also help save money. We also hear Master say that we should not eat or drink too well, too much, nor should we live too comfortably. However, if we don’t enjoy the world, we will have trouble later too. Master told the story of Pig Monk Eating Ginseng Fruit as a metaphor and a joke about a beggar and a very competent wife, all to teach us how to find ways to balance our life.
A couple of interesting stories for little kids, as this is the Year of Dog, we’ll tell a story about a dog.
