  • Summary

If we learn to be good people as children, we’re less likely to be a burden on others when we’re older. We should learn basic ethics from childhood. If there's anything you don't understand, ask your parents first. I think your parents are very good; they practice spiritually, and they have good morals and common sense. They're older than you are and have learned with me longer than you have. Ask them first about things that you don't understand-ask before you are grown up; it’s more difficult to make changes then!

I think you should form the habit of taking care of the moral aspects of your life since you are little and not just read your textbooks, or just learn foreign languages or math; that's not enough. Although they make us a little more intelligent, they may improve our business or help us find better jobs, but they cannot build our moral concepts or protect our souls or our dignity. Therefore, if your school doesn't teach you about ethics, take the initiative to teach yourself.

There are some things that Master does that you need not do, or even, should not do. Each individual is different in their spiritual practice; at different spiritual levels, with different responsibilities and affinities. You should not believe Master blindly; if Master’s teaching is not beneficial to you, then you need not heed.

 Highlight~

1.   Why do some people immediately know what others are thinking?

2.   Our thinking and what we have within us are important; why is it necessary to practice amongst others in this world?

3.   Vivekananda asked his master to give him Samadhi so he may enjoy being within the realm all day long. Do you want to know how his master responded to him?

4.   The Bible mentions the story of Noah, whereby God commands Noah to build an ark to save his family. That may be because only Noah’s family truly had the virtue, the noble ideal, and the desire for spiritual practice; they truly worshiped God. God will not abandon us altogether; otherwise, Hes would not have saved Noah. Master talks laughingly about the creative power of God, please enjoy and listen.
