  • Summary

To live a happy life, we should look at every place as Buddha's place, everyone as a Buddha, and every situation as a blessing and arrangement of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. The world is originally perfect and there's nothing to worry about. That's why Lao-tzu said, "There's nothing wrong with the world originally." Nothing needs to be changed except our mind and perceptions. No matter what we do, the purpose is always to know how perfect we are instead of our imperfectness. We will be greatly enlightened and become a Buddha if we know that we are perfect. That's it.

The Quan Yin Method uses the Sound Stream to cleanse our preconceived ideas, bad habits and bad perceptions, so that we see that we are Buddhas and everything is perfect. We should live a happy, free and peaceful life and know that all methods are for spiritual purpose. Happiness, anger, sorrow and joy are just our lessons, for which we should be grateful, and use our power, the power of imagination to change the atmosphere around us and change the situation to our liking.

Highlights
  1. Why is it not necessary that Master's power blesses us according to our wishes? How do we view any situation as the Buddhas' and Bodhisattvas' blessing?
  2. How do we lay down our random thoughts, or greed, anger, and ignorance? Can we go to the Pure Land with our karma? How do we control our weakness and keep it from growing? Master illustrates this with the example of cultivating children.
  3. What does it mean by "Kalyāṇa-mittatā" (good and wise advisor)? Why isn't it easy for our brain to believe in it even when we have some experience as proof?
  4. The scriptures tell us to become like a child. What does this mean? What is the difference between a positive attitude and an unrealistic one?
  5. How do we live a happy life in any situation? Master teaches us the method to enjoy eternal happiness.
  6. What does it mean by "nothing is wrong in the world originally"? Why is everything perfect from the perspective of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas?
  7. What are the differences between the Quan Yin Method and the method in which souls go out?
  8. After initiation, why do people sometimes see the Light while reading sutras or looking at something? What does it indicate when one sees the Light and hears a high level Sound?
  9. Why do we sometimes feel so sad while living in the Saha World? What should we do then?
  10. What is the ultimate purpose of life? What can we learn from working?
