  • Summary

Why do some initiates, who had practiced some very well-known methods before, appreciate so much, so much the Quan Yin Method taught by Master? Supreme Master Ching Hai points out that it’s because we talk from our heart, from our own realization of the Tao. Even if they talk the same, for example, about the five precepts and vegetarian diet, but the effect is different from ours, because they don’t have the power of enlightenment to back up the talk, or the power of their own experience. Therefore, even if the words sometimes sound the same, the effect is just different.

The Supreme Master also encourages the monks and nuns to do great deeds together with Master. We shouldn’t have any childish temper or very confined mindset. Being Master’s disciple, we should be different, good, special and outstanding! We do whatever we can and know the reason why we are here. Since we already know the greatness of our Master, and heard so much about our fellow initiates’ experiences, we have to be great to some extent so that we can match our Master, At least fifty or sixty percent of the greatness, if we cannot make it one hundred percent. We will have more work later as the number of people grows. Then our work load will increase, together with our responsibilities. Therefore, we should have greater and greater capabilities to make it.
