  • Summary

What is the heavenly music?  Supreme Master Ching Hai quoted ancient sages and texts to confirm that Quan Yin Method is the only method that can take us to the highest realm.  Many enlightened Masters since ancient times all mentioned the heavenly music.  Chuang Tze described the heavenly music sounded like coming from ten thousands instruments and ten thousands directions yet without any material instruments; She added that at the divine and serene level an enormous sound as thunder would emerge. This sound seemed to be coming from heaven, or rising from deep within the ground. In the Lotus Sutra it mentions the sound of Brahman, the sound of sea waves, and the sound of extraordinary worlds, etc. The Holy Bible  also says that God's voice was like  the sound of thunder and the sound of sea water.

Those who practice the Quan Yin Method do not need to read any books. We can experience for ourselves, and then we know that the heavenly music does exist, and that heavenly lights do exist. To see heaven, we don't need to go anywhere, we can see it everywhere when we meditate, because we are originally  one with the Creation. We are  one with Tao. If we do not personally hear the inner sounds and see the inner lights, we don't know that we are really  one with Tao.

Highlights~

1.Everyone has infinite blessings. If you say I have infinite blessings, then you have the same. But you forget to use yours, that's why there are  master and disciples. Otherwise, we are equal, with no difference. That's why we have to meditate and practice.

2.There are many ways to meditate. Why do we recommend the Quan Yin Method? It's because this is the only method, since ancient times, that can take us to the highest level and let us understand our greatest power. Shakyamuni Buddha once said that you might use other methods just for convenience., meaning  it's for temporary use, but not ultimate.

3.Why can’t we get enlightened by reading scriptures?  Because the power of Dharma lineage is not in the book, just like a book describing mother’s love cannot satisfy the yearning of a child. We need a real mother or a substitute mother to love us, so that we can feel the love that cannot be written down.

4.Master told about the feeling and realm in the course of practice of the ancient Chinese practitioner Lie Tze.

5.What is meditation? It's not just sitting there. We have to know a method to get hold of our inner wisdom. If we focus all our attention on our wisdom center, we can easily get answers to all our questions. At that time, many problems will be solved naturally.

6. Why did ancient practitioners contemplate on Zen questions?

7.Would it be all right if we meditate all day long and leave all the worldly things alone?

8. Why do we need to practice? Will there be any problems with a practitioner  who has attained the Tao?

9. What attitude should be held when facing the pressure and frustrations from secular life ?

Why is it also dangerous when there is no  suffering and stress in life?

10. Since Lie Tze said, “Living is not living, and death is not death." when he achieved the realm of no life nor death, Why do we need to practice?

11. Master described the bitter experience of her first disciple in India to verify the Chinese saying of "That old man Sai lost his horse is  blessing in disguise ". Sometimes we think that God is not being good to us, but in fact, what He is doing  is the best for us.

12. Should a seriously ill person take medicine containing animal products?

13. Karma is created by oneself, just like a criminal must be subject to legal sanctions.  Then why can a living enlightened Master  shoulder the karma for others?

14. Would a person transmigrate if he does good deeds diligently but is not practicing with an enlightened Master?

15. Would we lose motive to compete after spiritual practice and become pessimistic? Why does Master say that a happy life is not earned by competition?

16. Is Chi Kung practice in conflict with the  practice of the Quan Yin Method?

17.  If one meditates at random without the guidance of an enlightened master, will he also gradually become more loving?

18. One of the audience asked that “I have dedicated to helping others all my life, why am I inflicted with many illnesses?”  Master  reminded us through a story that when we were experiencing adversity in life, or when we were physically hurt or ill, we should know that God was reminding us to seek the eternal realm  within ourselves. We should keep our mind open so as to know what God had bestowed on us might not be what we thought  it to be.

19. Why getting initiated and practicing spiritually makes one the most filial child?

20. The Bible states: “The eye is the lamp of the body.  If your eye is bright, your whole body will be full of light”.  What is the meaning of this statement?

21. Since a liberated spiritual practitioner is blissful inside, does he still have to give alms?

22. The Bible states that Jesus Christ will redeem our sins.  Is this similar to  Master shoulders  our karma of many past lives by giving us initiation?

23.  What is the difference between the disciples of the Sakyamuni Buddha when he was alive and the Buddhist disciples of today who only chant the sutras and pray to the Buddha?

24. The Buddha said that to impart the Dharma is the highest form of alms giving.  However, ordinary people do not have any Dharma.  How should we give Dharma ?

25. Conflicts and misunderstandings between people are very distressful.  What spiritual level must we arrive at to eliminate such distresses?
